On the main floor there is just off the entry a separate wc. In the same passage, there is a guest facility - a basin, beautifully set in mahogany with mirrored wall behind. There are two further bathrooms on the main floor. Bathroom 1 is en suite with Bedroom 1, and consists of a set-in-marble bathtub and basin, a separate wc, and a separate marble shower. The second bathroom (Bathroom 2) on the main floor is en suite with Bedroom 2 and consists of a bathtub, basin, and bidet. The third bathroom (Bathroom 3) is on the mezzanine floor adjacent to the mezzanine single bedroom (Bedroom 4) and consists of a shower and basin.
“Incredible” was the exclamation from the first clients into this apartment. That would be ours as well. To those who know Paris apartments, this one stands alone in so many ways. To say that it is unique is an understatement.
More than anything the apartment is characterized not only by its position in the heart of St. Germain des Prés, but once inside, it seems as though the apartment floats above the treetops and the rooftops of Paris. The windows are enormous - and atypical of Paris apartments. And then, there is the window in the living room - virtually two dramatic stories of glass, framing sky and skyline. The views are stunning!!!!
And the decor......it is dramatic as well - a marvelous mélange of oversized classically French furnishings, luxury designer fabrics, billowing silk, cotton, and natural linen, lovely authentic antiques, Aubusson rugs, gilded chandeliers, and comfort, comfort everywhere.
A choice “incroyable” to be sure.
Sleeping Arrangements:
In each of the three bedrooms on the main floor there are two single beds which can be made up individually as singles, or together are king-size beds. On the mezzanine floor there is a single bed in a small, but charming, bedroom adjacent to the mezzanine sitting room.
